Eddie Price, CCSP, was elected President of the American Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP) for a two-year term, effective August 1, 2023.

Eddie Price | KBKG Director

Eddie Price, CCSP, elected President. Eddie joined the ASCSP in 2008 and earned his CCSP designation in 2011. He currently serves as Chair of the Testing Committee and previously served as Chair of the Education Committee.

Eddie is a Principal with KBKG, overseeing the Southern region and its Texas-based operations. He began working in Cost Segregation in the early 1980s when the Investment Tax Credit era was in effect. He has been doing this work for more than 40 years.

Winston Shurtz, CCSP, elected Director. Winston joined the ASCSP and earned his CCSP designation in 2019, serving on the Conference Committee for two years. Winston is a Senior Manager in KBKG’s Southeast region based out of Atlanta. He has more than 17 years of Cost Segregation experience, providing reliable, engineering-based results for clients in multiple industries.  

Lester Cook, CCSP, appointed Secretary. Lester joined the ASCSP in 2008 and earned his CCSP designation in 2015. He currently serves as Chair of the Ethics Committee and is a past member of the Testing Committee. This appointment as Secretary is his second term in this role.

Lester is a Principal with KBKG, leading the Midwest region and its Chicago-based operations. Lester has over 20 years of experience in Cost Segregation and fixed asset depreciation.

Malik Javed, CCSP, Chair, Technical Standards Committee. Malik joined the ASCSP in 2008 and earned his CCSP designation in 2012. He currently heads the Technical Standards Committee. Previously, Malik served on the Board of Directors for four years.

Malik is a Principal with KBKG and the national leader of its Cost Segregation practice. His career in Cost Segregation spans over 19 years.
