Pasadena, Calif. – KBKG, a tax credits and incentives consulting firm, welcomes Matt Kemp as its Regional Director of Business Development in the Southeast. Kemp joins KBKG after spending seven years in business development operations for a forensic expert witness firm.
In his role, Kemp will focus on supporting current clients, while building new relationships in the Southeast region. Kemp will also work closely with companies, and their CPAs, in identifying tax-saving opportunities to lower their tax burden, and focus on Research and Development tax credits, Energy Tax Benefits, and Cost Segregation studies. KBKG professionals based in the Southeast work with engineers and tax experts from its Pasadena, California headquarters to perform thousands of tax projects, which has resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in benefits for its clients.
Prior to joining KBKG, Kemp worked for a forensic expert witness firm, where he connected clients with on-point technical experts to effectively address issues specific to their legal casework. He possesses a background that includes experience in small business financing, specializing in the legal and medical industries.
