Winston Shurtz, Senior Engineer in KBKG’s Cost Segregation Consulting practice in the Southeast, recently passed the ASCSP Certified exam. The identification of Certified Cost Segregation Professional (CCSP) is the highest credential in the cost segregation industry. Winston is the 8th member within our firm with the CCSP designation.

Winston has more than 13 years of experience in cost segregation, providing reliable, engineering-based results for commercial and retail properties for his clients. He has overseen hundreds of cost segregation studies and consulted for numerous accounting firms throughout the country. He has successfully developed new processes, procedures, and firm software relating to cost segregation. Winston’s industry experience includes but is not limited to apartments, assisted living, major grocery stores, manufacturing, office, retail, warehouse, mixed-use space, and more.
Since joining KBKG, Winston has enjoyed the challenging and encouraging environment that the firm provides in order to meet and exceed client’s expectations.

Fun Fact: Winston met his wife while playing ultimate frisbee at church. While she doesn’t remember the first time they met, he certainly does. They now have three children under the age of 5 and have been happily married for over 8 years.
