In front of some of the industry’s leading experts, KBKG was well-represented at this year’s Real Estate Roundtable (RER) State of the Industry event in Washington, DC. KBKG Principal, CJ Aberin, was invited by RER to panel a discussion on the energy tax incentives from the Inflation Reduction Act for the Tax and Sustainability Advisory Committee.

Also representing the firm were Principal, Sumit Sharma, Director, Brandon Val Verde, and Regional Director, Alexis McClellan who all sat in various committee meetings. Sharma was part of the Tax Policy Advisory Committee, while Val Verde joined the Sustainability Policy Advisory Committee and McClellan met with the Real Estate Capital Policy Advisory Committee.

With more than 3 million members throughout the country, the Real Estate Roundtable is a national organization that brings together the nation’s top privately-owned and publicly-held real estate ownership, development, lending and management firms to address national policy issues relating to real estate and the economy.
