The federal tax incentives for going green have grown steadily over the past five years, yet many businesses fail to pursue them, leaving many tax credits and deductions on the table.

This course focuses on the various Federal, State and Local incentives such as IRC Section 45L which provides very significant tax credits for multifamily & condo developers and homebuilders. We will also discuss how the Section 179D Commercial Energy Deduction can be “free” money to Architect & Engineering firms and Contractors. Topics include recent developments, how the benefits are achieved, identifying likely candidates, and other related tax saving opportunities.
